Turning the corners of the squeegee down towards the rubber to stop the rubber riding up over the mouldings, and leaving a trail of soap behind.

Beefy

are you running an anti virus programme, i had the same problem on Autotrader, you need to adjust the settings within the programme (add blocking), well thats if you are using one.

Yes, just bend the corner of your channel over untill it just touches the rubber.
Make sure that your rubber only just protrudes from the end of your channel or it won't work. Dai

Also, cut the rubber at a slight angle outwards..........
Works a treat

If anyones interested, here's how customize my squeegees.

The channel ends are cut off at an angle. This gets the squeegee right into corners on deep recess windows without having to line it up with the frame.

I don't 'dog ear' but I do very slightly bend the whole channel which gives the same result.

On the handle, I bend the bit that holds the channel out a bit so it's less claw shaped. This lets you finish off perfectly again on deep recess windows. The only problem with the last bit is that it isn't suited to pole work where the 'claw' comes in handy. I use a standard handle for that.

Hi `beefy`,can you clarify or otherwise this. With the channel cut an angle
Do you have your rubber `flush` or set over the end of the channel? What
Depth angle is the channel cut at.I`m just wondering if what your meaning
And doing is something similier I came to the group with a couple of years
Ago but your idea might be an improvement. The idea I sent in only really
Works to the best advantage on modern upvc windows where there are
Mouldings.I`ve always thought that cleaning windows with channels that
Have been `dog-eared`on modern upvc frames is`nt being done to the best
Advantage because the rubber has to be set over the end of the channel. The
Whole operation defeats the purpose of `dog-earing`.
