Explaining, is a Rod for our backs.

when we started window cleaning, all those years ago..(19 for me), we never thought of explaining how we were going to clean the windows, we just did them.  If they had any questions we'd answer them as we went along.

What do you think?

Maybe we should at least try and resort to that with WFP.
So, big deal, we've got this new sophisticated system.
We are still just cleaning windows.
Let them ask the questions.

Did anyone ever ask you about the long term effects of soap(fairy liquid)?
They did me.  I said I didn't really know, but I didn't think any problems.
So what's the problem with spotty glass at times?
No problem.  It means this time we've cleaned your frames more thoroughly than we used to.  Next time the glass will probably be clear.

Your glass isn't clear this time either?
Overall appearance is good though isn't it?  Oh yes!

WELL?  WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR ME TO DO?  WASH THE WHOLE BUILDING INSIDE OUT?  WALLS AND ROOF N' ALL?

We explain to them cause we are trying to explain to ourselves.

When I changed over to wfp last May I did consider getting together a fact-sheet for the customer, in the end I didn't bother, I have had only one complaint, not lost a single customer, and only a few have asked how it works.

A rolled up sock down the front of tight trousers usually stops punters bothering you :)
