What Would You Price?
« on: February 09, 2006, 08:34:57 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm interested in finding out what you would all charge for the following house, to be cleaned with traditional methods, every 4 weeks.

FRONT TOP WINDOW

FRONT BOTTOM WINDOW

FRONT DOOR

SIDE TOP WINDOW

BACK CONSERVATORY

(there are windows above the conservatory but these cannot be reached with traditional methods)

SIDE CONSERVATORY

What would you price?

Please put price and where you are from.

Cheers.

I could do them, as they're above a bay, not a conservatory. ;)

I would Charge Between £10.00 and £12.00 which includes the frames the door the facia and the roof of the conservatory if its made of glass or plastic.

I use Wfp, and I would like to see someone walk over the conservatory roof if it is made of glass or plastic.

Read his comments again Rog, below the photo of the conservatory.  He said there are windows above the conservatory that cannot be done trad.
So you cannot price the whole job.
If you could do the ones above the conservatory somehow, without using wfp, then how much?
So, price to half do the job?  About £6-7.
Do it properly £10.
Ask the client what they would like.  AND we'll clean up that UPVC cladding at the side of the conservatory FOC if you have the windows done every 4 weeks. ;)

Thanks for the responses guys  :) Keep them coming.

Just to clarify, the windows above the conservatory should not be included in the price as it's a quote for traditional methods of cleaning. I wouldn't imagine anyone would walk on a conservatory   :o

Assuming good access all around the house £12.  This assumes messing around with an non waterfed extension pole and swivel applicator/squeegee for the window above the corrugated roof.

Gatwick.

You know who you are, what you can do, what you're worth, roughly what you can charge in your area.  You've got it right.  You've obviously been practicing.
Go out and do it.  Let us know in about 4 weeks what you've learned.
In the meantime ask.

£10 in Liverpool if trad.

If I did a similar house WFP it would be £15 selling the customer the cleaning of the frames, Upvc, innaccessible windows.

I would NOT clean the roof as part of a scheduled window clean unless they asked for this. I would charge £10 extra for the roof if they wanted it done and suggest having it cleaned every other month.
If the roof was a one off clean annually, I would charge £30
