No way. I work hard for 8 hours a day and still a fat fuque.

You burn about 2000 calories a day just sitting still, so I bet AR isn’t far off.

Because you over eat.
Checking calorie sites it seems a brisk walk will burn between 200 and 350 calories if you do 3.5 mph. Bigger you are = more calories. Uphill more than on the level.
I reckon on the glass at 5 hours will be 1000 calories over your day's amount of about 2000.

But you are moving your arms and shoulders, lifting the pole up and down, reeling in and out hose etc.

I nearly got a shock off one of those in South America...sorry I thought you said eels!
