Friends

What about the "Treatment Risk" (you know, in case we damage the property we're working on ? - yes, with good training it's very unlikely) - what's a typical price/insurer for this for relative newbies ?

I was able to get £5 million cover for £185 per year through a local broker
the insurers are "MMA"  (Master Tradesman Insurance Policy).

I hope this is of use to you.

does your policy specify it will cover what you are working on? i have tried in vain to find policy that doesn't have some clause ie wont cover item being cleaned.

I think you need to ask do you just want Public Liability or do you want Treatment Risks aswell/

I
am paying about £249 a year for both.

But that only covers me for carpet and upholstery cleaning.

It makes expermenting in other directions expensive.
