Gold mine round for sale
« on: September 09, 2011, 04:42:18 pm »
Started up 7 years ago and have now built a round up to achieve one man £73k a year income. (Vat threshold).

The round consists of quality domestic jobs averaging just over £17 per job. These vary from £6-12 front only cleans to large domestics achieving £100 per clean.

The round is currently worked over 4 weeks each month starting on the 1st and finishing around the 28th having a couple of days off at the end of each month.

I go like a loon in December and squeeze everyone in before the 24th so as not to disturb customers over the xmas break.

One man needs to work around 7hrs / 4 days a week to complete all the work each month. Although working 5 days a week you can complete the work at a nice steady pace.

I believe this round to be of the very highest quality with most customers sending cheques in the post by means of self addressed envelopes, so no need to collect. Those that don't possess a cheque book or prefer BACS i have on standing order payment.

Having just read the the rounds for sale website I will consider all offers over £100,000

Anybody that's seriously interested can call me on 07717756357

Regards,
Lance

Round is turning over approx £6000 per calendar month 16.5 times monthly value seems excessive. For that lay ouy are there audited accounts

I can give the interested parties whatever proof they need that the work is all genuine and above board.

I don't think that 16.5 times monthly is excessive at all given the fact that one man can breeze through all the work on his own.

The business about selling WC rounds has always made me wonder.

Why is it that if you buy a limited company you can expect to pay around 5 times the yearly profits for it? Even if it includes some fixtures and fittings this is still a lot.

On this logic a WC round would be worth 60 times monthly.

Maybe WC rounds in general are undervalued? I know you lose a few custys when you buy a round but you'll pick up a few too.

Just a thought.

Hello Lance,

I would have been interested  ...... in 2x the monthly takings ( I have never paid higher myself, and then worked it to pay it).... I hope you sell it for what you want!  :)

Then once you've worked 18 months you have all the profits of £73k worth of takings each year.

Granted it's not a  short term get rich quick investment but if you know of anywhere else that you could have this earning potential then please let me know.

6k a month on your own in 4 days!!? Now that is a good round!

You've built it pal it's worth what you've put in to it. I wish I could afford to buy a round
near me but rounds are fetching more than I can afford. My round is a fraction smaller than yours
and I wouldn't sell for 10x as I've busted a gut to build it for 3 years. So I understand why people price high.

Good luck

Where do the wages come from? Assuming someone works for 18 months to re-aquire their starting capital, at an average wage of 25k per annum, it will take two years to reach break even point and thats without factoring in any business running costs.

Big mistake looking at rounds for sale website.
They are priced too high that's why they are still for sale.
The stuff that was reasonably priced sold.
If you REALLY want to sell then you need to be realistic.
This is only DOMESTIC work anyway

Sounds like a good deal to me. 50% ROI. BOE doesn't give you that.
