I would clear out debris and unblock downpipes for that sort of price i wouldn`t get every bit out of the trays and polish the damn thing though,i would get it so that water flowed and so it didn`t block a mornings work or so.

if you mean doing all ten houses as one job i'd say about £750-£1000 is a good place to start, then add on extra for poor access etc

Just spoke to a customer today in the north east that has just won a council contract 2000 houses at £56.00 per house + VAT
So a batch of 10 houses should really be worth more than £56.00 per property.

can't remember, but I'm no daredevil, so it must have been easy enough.

It's not about driving prices lower, its about giving value for money, this is for a customer of mine who I have done work for for over 5 years, if it was one off then I can see that charging high is the way to go, but for good customers then you have to give them value. One man can do this in the day easy, but would be better 2 men half day. I will see what he says when we meet up.

i know what your saying but it would be a one off for us!
we all have customers that we have softspots for and get on well with, but you dont have the inclination to do it cos it was too cheap last time, a full days guttercleaning is hard work and messy on ladders and comes at a higher premium than window cleaning.

Its easier to tell from the front pics, Id say each property is about 8 metres across, that makes two runs of 160 metres.

Just emptying gutters I charge £3.00 a metre, that works out at £480.00

Someone suggested difficulties due to access, I dont think I seen a row of 10 houses with such easy rear access, theres some numptys here.

As Stan also said, use a stand-off, use a rojak.

It looks like about 5 hours work to me.

480/5 = £96.00 per hour.

Stand alone houses i would vac for £50
They are all in a row so probably half a days work so if it was in my area i'd still be happy with £250. No need to rob him.

I reckon 2 an hour, but for arguments sake if it takes a day, id have a guy footing and bung him say £70.00 and id want 300

call it £400 for a nice round figure

But if pushed id do it for £300.00 i dont think its particuarly hard work

Well said Ronnie, Im sure he's on drugs. Severly mind altering drugs that totally remove him from reality.

Glyn must earn a big round 1K a day the way he flabbers about on here about running a business. I always find his posts strangely amusing. I do wonder why he bothers, it must be tediously boring preaching to us retards with the same response, week in week out.

Still, whatever floats his boat.
