Do you think maybe he did show up but after looking you in the eye - I mean right in the eye - he thought your eyes were not open enough so decided to bugger off?

Any names? I'm on Mersea and cover the villages around Colchester and do a lot in town, I might have had dealingswith who you mean if you want to name him.

lee is his name .

where do you mostly work in colchester richard .  i mostly work  East hill, highwoods and greenstead

Most if my work is Mersea and the villages between there and Colchester, I have a few days a month in town, new town, black Heath, high street, harwich road, and Greenstead . What sort of van does he use? I have a white high top 6 seater transit all sign written up, we've probably seen each other about.

im thinking that some folk stumble onto this forum and then love faking bein a windie-the double life scenario .

i stumbled onto a truckers forum after doin a search for a satnav that warns me of speeding, well i joined the forum . i felt a right fraudster cos everybody else was a real trucker . now i didnt go so far as to boast about my truck , i only was on there to do with gettin a satnav ,but  i had to pretend i was , to get the best info .

theres a sort of thrill in pretending you are summat you are not - long as you dont take it too far

I use this, only £20 per year & fantastic!! You can have it on 3 devices per subscription, so you can have it on your in-car nav AND iphone etc. ;) http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/

yes I read that story, well the start of it, I lost interest after a while, by the way the cheap sat navs mentioned on that forum do just the job warning on speed limits etc, great bit of kit for £50 odd quid, can't fault it
