Tom if you have done 17 gutter and facia jobs for 7k either they are massive houses or you have some very thick customer s that's well over 400 pounds per job wow
Some pretty big houses, a couple of blocks of flats and a couple of regular sized houses. I wouldn't say they are thick, but they are happy to pay for a trustworthy, reliable, friendly service. Always bear in mind that these are jobs they can't or won't do themselves, or they don't want to spend ages trying to find someone who may or may not be any good, so when I sell them my company I have justified my price, emailed them a professional quote outlining everything we will do and also point out any other bits that need fixing they are happy to pay.
My van, business cards, quote forms and invoices are all professional looking with consistent branding. It instills confidence.
Its funny how it works, I quoted one job at £120, quite a small house but completely blocked, plants growing out of all of them, a down pipe would have had to come off and all sorts. She said no and went with someone for £90. The next day we got accepted to clear gutters on a block of flats for £635 which took one guy 3 hours whilst I cleaned the windows - now they could have shopped around and got it cheaper, but they wouldn't know who to trust.
