Where are you I need you!
« on: September 15, 2011, 05:40:53 pm »
Just typing my last post on here and I get a phone call which went thus:-

Her: Hi, it's Kate of (XYZ) close (laughing) where are you have you retired?

Me: (Smugly) No ... I last called on the 22nd of July and I'm due after 8 weeks which is next week!

Her: That's almost two months ago!

Me: (Realisation setting in) Oooh errrr sorry - everyone else in the road is two monthly, you're monthly - I'll be round tomorrow morning (only half a mile away).

Her: I hope you don't mind but I grabbed a window cleaner with a ladder and squeegee I was so desperate - Never again! Marks everywhere! Awful! Do you mind putting it right?

Me: No worries sorry to put you out - see you tomorrow!

 ;D
It's a game of three halves!

I cant understand how people can think trad is better. wfp leaves a much better job. but thats my opinion.

I had someone who works at some offices I do moaning about her windy. He's WFP and leaves drips and smears. I explained that he wasn't doing it and pointed out that's the way I do theirs and there are no smears.

My point is that both trad and WFP are tools and you can do a bad job with either.

A lot of guys buy all this gear and think it'll work regardless of technique.
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence
