Title: Awning Cleaning
Post by: cloverclean on June 01, 2004, 03:34:29 pm
I have been asked buy a customer to clean an awning,
it is gone green across the bottom from dampness.
I have cleaned it once with normal upholstery cleaning
fluid but have been unable to remove it.

Any Ideas  :)

Do not expect to completely remove the green, the plant material is too tightly bonded within the cloth.

You can remove the surface growth, and viewed from the top, the result can look impressive, but stand underneath and look through the fabric and you will see the results of the increased opacity.
