Ed

I agree

Matt

That seems like a lot of fuel but the Thor goes through diesel like that, just cheaper because it's cherry.

Rob, Matt, if you could buy one machine what would it be? (Within reason 21-40 lt per min).

If you could only have one machine from your current set up, what would it be?

Billy no mates - Ta for that heads up - Chesterton!!

Neil

I would always go with the H & M because as a one man machine I think it is unbeatable.

If you put it against Lee's Falch it does virtually the same heat, less bar pressure but a much better flow and split on heat it will supply two with more flow than the Falch.

If I could have any machine I would have one of its' big brothers

If you see something give me a bell and i'll have a look at it for you.

I look at Drain jetters all the time because they have a load more about them than pressure washers and there is always plenty of decent ones on fleabay!

Dead easy to put a couple of reels onto one, keep the jetter reel and flick them over with quick release fittings.

Ed,

My main machine is a 26hp lombardini diesel with a 21lpm pump an boiler. Van mounted. Havent found anything i cant clean with it and it runs on red diesel. I only use the Zeta on bigger jobs.

I dont know much about the thor, but in my opinion, unless your splitting the flow everyday, 40lpm is too much for one operator on everyday jobs. Yes a higher flowrate makes rinsing quicker, but running a 20 inch mossie or whirlaway on 21lpm will clean a driveway fine. 21lpm will clean most things.

Thanks Matt, bet the Lombardini was not cheap! I agree with all what you say and know that the Zeta petrol 30LPM will be ample .
I think i would prefer a diesel but Zeta range seem not high flow/pressure/HP  ! Ed

Rob , the Thor 41lpm . I would imagine this runs at 41lpm on full throttle, so run it just over half throttle you would get between 20-30 LPM. Just thinking about not using it at its ultimate performance hence protecting its shelf life and save on  fuel consumption ect  ! Ed

Have you used one? What is your set up? What do you base your comment on?

Ed -  I wouldn't worry too much about overworking it. It's 200 kilos of solidly built machine, that has everything it needs for a lifetime of work

It's a large overweight box trailer you cannot legally tow...with a plastic tank (IBC would do the same job) ,3000PSI at 20  per minute (you can get that (20lpm) from a £1500 honda). It;s duel fuel so you have to carry petrol and diesel. With the addition on a burner....21 lpm burner is only £700 new.
So £2300 for p/w and burner...£1000 for a box trailer...£50 for Ibc

How much is it???

Have you used one.....No I have not used one.
My set up is a little Briggs and stratton petrol engine , an interpump, and a plastic whirlaway.
My comment is based on the spec of it,the images of it ....and an educated guess at the price. 3000psi at 20 litres a minute is exactly that... whatever continent it's on. They don't even make steam ..only hot water.

P rick

I've used one for the last four years

You're wrong on just about every count. I can talk from the position of having one and not supposition.

Mines van mounted and you can buy just the machines, without the trailer.

The trailers are quality - ask Rog

Mine isn't duel fuel - runs on red and at a tenner a day is probably more economical than your set up

Don't make steam - come and meet me and I'll show you it running.

As someone who has more than one set up, two of which are both at the top end of quality I can say that you get what you pay for and I get a lot more machine than you. I have paid for that but with my work I need it.

I am not going to be drawn into debating with a fool but the turbo nozzle alone is twice the size of a standard one.

Sometimes, particularly when you don't know it is better to keep your mouth shut but I guess you enjoy the clown facade you have created.

Busy Chris?

The ones on the website are all (except maybe a special order) petrol engined.
Did you not upgrade the pump on yours?
Steam and hot water are two completely different things.

" the turbo nozzle alone is twice the size of a standard one" ..... ;D ;D ;D
Is that like my cock is bigger than yours?
