Title: Pet urine /smells after cleaning
Post by: Leon conroy on June 09, 2020, 08:46:56 pm
Hi guys..
Long shot here ..just looking for some overall advice....
(Probably should have never taken this job on 1st place..but I'm a yes man🙄)
So a clients pet peed fully in middle of carpet..wool mix 70/30 as usual client used multiple Chems forcing all to the carpet backing...I rinsed..saturated area with pro chem neutraliser ..
Then rinse well with an anti bac...dry within a day but bad smell still..is this a lost cause?..
Any advice appreciated greatly..

The thing about this type of contamination is that it is very possible that the underlay  and even floor boards are affected. The customer will never be honest about how often the dog has pee'd on the carpet or how long it has been going on for. In extreme cases the only solution is to peel back the carpet and see what is going on underneath.
