Title: westermann moss brush
Post by: TomCrowther on January 30, 2020, 04:21:51 pm
Hi.
Has anybody got experience of using a Westermann brush? I don't get loads of very mossy tarmac drives but it looks as though a Westermann would save lots of time and water for those I do get.
Also, what about using one on block paving instead of pressure washing. Any experience?
I have a job confirmed the other day. All around the house is covered in quite thick moss {under leaves}. Mainly tarmac, two drives and a path/patio, plus another block patio. Seems perfect for this type of work.

Tom I’m on a Facebook group that has a member who uses one of these might be worth joining and asking there

I bought one recently. It's a bit of a beast but you can get really good results. The thicker moss gives a better result. If it's only a coating of green algae then pressure wash it or spray with AlgoClear.
