Title: Xjet
Post by: Marius Alexandru on June 22, 2018, 12:04:14 am
Anyone use one ? Can it be used for roof washing ? How does the Xjet work ? How does it take the solution from a tank ?

On jetmac there is a simillar looking product for £13  where the x jet is £180 or so

The x jet works at the lance and draws chem as you you the pw there are different Venturi to give different strengths of mix

Just put the tube into chem drum and off you go

Yes you can use for roof work - weather permitting

Need a link to jet Mac item to see what it is

You can make your own with chem injector but limited to a set dilution rate

An x-jet is a high-pressure injector, the jet mac one is low pressure. Two completely different things.

A handy item tho

What would you class as ‘low pressure mode’ ?

I usually use a low pressure nozzle or vario

Would an xjet be used to apply a hypo mix through a pressure washer outlet?

I use my x jet to apply hypo on really big jobs, works really well but it’s hard to be precise

Yes Matt

The advantage is its “downstream” so the Chems  are not gong through the pressure washer pump.

So, you simply make mix up in a 25 litre drum, fix the hose from the drum through to the PW outlet and this draws the mix through?

Just thought, by doing that though, that will also pump water through the pressure washer from your PW barrel, or customers tap, and thus dilute your mix, won't it?

You have 25lts of concentrate which is diluted by the water running through the pressure washer, you don’t premix the hypo

Thanks Mike, so how do you manage delivering the hypo at the concentration you want, given it can vary depending on what sort of job you're doing.

It draws concentrated hypo and mixes with the water flow from the pressure washer it comes with different size venturi’s That change the mix - you get a chart with it

TBH - I’ve just used the strongest mix through it regardless

You can internally fit various tips to alter the dilution, with no tip it’s 4-1 I tend to use that.
