Vacuum
« on: August 06, 2015, 07:02:17 pm »
I will be looking to buy bigger vacuum.
To be used with hard floor spinners and vacuuming slurry from natural stone floor restoration.
Ideally vacuum with high water level shut off swith, which can take at least 60L water , be able to connect 1.5inch hose, with emptying hose on the back, not wider then 55cm, strong enough to suck up water from spinners with around 15-22m hose.
Are there any like that on the market?

If you are going to use it with a spinner get an auto pump out option or you will be emptying it as much as you are cleaning.

Kevin does a triple motor with pump out.

This will run 6m hose.

It will most likely run longer. I say 6m as we just use an old carpet machine hose at this length rather than the 2.5m that its supplied with.

A lot will depend on the type of spinner you are using. an sx15 with 2" and 1 port will need more power than an sx12 or equivalent tool.

The pump out vacs we sell were designed for the German Fire Service.  THey have 1000's of them and they use them to pump out flooded cellars in Germany amongst other things.  They have enough power for virtually anything and certainly an sx 15.  We have also sold a load to Cummins Diesel who have them to clean out and drain diesel tanks.

No it is not a Klindex Compact 433M !  They do not have pump outs on and furthermore the Klindex (Soteco) 433M costs £649 + VAT without a pump.  The Vacs I use and sell are made in China then exported to Germany for assembly.  The pumps are installed in Germany and then shipped to me!    However, at the end of the day, the specification of the pump out above meets most peoples needs!  If not I can supply you with any vacuum you want with any power you want or any lift.  I sell vacuums that cost in excess of £18000 the sky is the limit really.

vacuum hose

oh, and can you empty the vacuum without  the use of pump out, I mean if used for slurry then better not to use pump out.

The truth is I don't know but I also cannot work out why anyone would want a 15 metre hose either is there a reason for it?  The longest we have ever needed to use is 5 metres in any situation as that gives you around a 13 metre reach from a power socket / point/ extension.  I cannot think of any reason ever where we have needed a 23 metre reach from a socket or extension cable.  Please elaborate I am intrigued???

to leave the machine outside, let it empty to the drains. Thats why i am asking for 15m as it should manage most of jobs like that.

Radex thats the wrong way round!  The answer is to use the machine inside in the room you are working in and have a 15 metre hose or (as long as you want pumping out into the drain down a toilet or sink or wherever else you want it.

Vacuum outside is what I am looking for.
If will not find such an option I will work inside.
Dont fancy moving the vac every few meters. If I like it I would work as a typical porty carpet cleaner without mounting the strom on the van.

Radek

That is the wrong way round.  You use a short vacuum hose, a long power cable and a long pump out hose.  It is easier to trail a waterproof 1/2" Hose outside to a drain than to have 15 metres of 38mm hose trailing round and a vacuum plugged in and stood outside in the rain trust me!  Stop thinking like a CC if you want to start doing this sort of work seriously.  If you don't believe me ring Eddie and ask him ::)roll

all my hoses are 7.5 meters, and any unnecesary meters are to be outside, no way to have to much hoses under my feet.
and prefer even to have a hoses on the floor then big vacuum blocking my way in the hallway etc.
sorry, respect my way and accept it, you no need to fancy it.

something on my mind

I have an old Scorpion machine that would be great for vacuuming water from sx15 and other tools, could work on one cable with 2 engines or 3 engines if needed on 2 cables.
The only what I would need is pump out with float switch. Are there any small pumps that would fit between these 3 stack pipes inside the scorpion tank?
Would small flood submersible pump work, with the underpressure we have inside the tank?

I hope you don't mean using rain/storm drains when you mention pumping trade effluent down the outside drains Radek !!!!
