I've only heard good things about both courses, the IICRC (or what ever it's called) is mainly theory, I'm sure Pierre de Wet has done both you could contact him Adi Marsh has done the Nu Life course so you could contact him.

I have sampled both Marblelife and Nu-LIfe tea and can confidently say they are both decent quality brews.

I can not comment on some of the other Hard surface cleaning courses apart from IICRC down at Alltec, but I think the NU Life organisation is one of the best set ups I have come across after doing a couple of their courses and using their products

Can't comment on the course but what I will say if this makes sense is that it is understanding (knowledge) that is key in this game. Why a chemical works in particular instances and why it doesn't in other situations. Another key is identification and knowing what will work and what won't work. Practical is great or "hands on" but that will only really come through experience. Another great thing is to know your limitations when would you say no this is beyond me and walk away? Or would you say this is the time I made the jump? I suppose and correct me if I'm wrong similar to when you jump from a porty to a TM perhaps?

My tip would be if you want practical a "mess around" if you like set up some floors in your garage that you think is your target area market e.g limestone, marble or Victorian floors get the chemicals, pads diamonds whatever and find your limitations.

Hope this is a helpful post

The Tea at Tile Doctor is very good I think its the Milk we use, but I may be a little Biased as I run the Courses.
I dont Think Pierre de wett is a member of Clean it up, but I can comment that Pierre does a lot of courses, he has done 3 with me personally and I have also trained two of his staff as well < lukas and Rob > so he must like my Tea as well.
 Apart from that I suppose its best to ask other people whoi have been on the courses as word of Mouth is the best advertisment.
If anyone Knows the following, contact them if your interested and ask their opionon about us Im sure they will say nothing  but good things about our Tea < and the Training courses we offer >
Angelo Gouviea of Cleaning Time,
Roger Underhill of Kestrel Cleaning;
Steve Caprenter at Dirty Grout;
Mick Gayton of Steam Genie,
Colin Ford, of CSF Cleaning
Nick Murphy,of  Sure clean,
  Glen Tonkin and Scott Campbell at Toncam cleaning,
John  Methven of Silicone King,
 Phil Barrs  at Multi-clean,
 Paul Scott of Croyden carpet cleaners,
 Charles Okechime At Clean Plan
Bill Bailey of ABC Cleaning
Andrew Barnes at Dorset carpet care, there are many more but this is just the list of Carpet cleaners so I thought it would be best to keep it relevant to this forum, I havent listed their tel numbers but if you know them, then I am sure you will already have it and can ask us about them.

Here we go again Kevin, thought you had gotten over yourself by now, whats wrong dont you like  competition.
 You should probably look at other avenues to advertise your business I feel your time is up on this forum, if all you can do is get arguementitive and knock the competition all the time, its insulting to the members on here to think they cant see through your mindset and how you sell your business.
 To think I wouldnt have come on this website if you hadnt been slagging Tile Doctor off,and a few of the members hadnt told me about you, so reap the Whirlwind Kevin im going to be a big thorn in your side for a bit longer yet.
Regards Russell at Tile Doctor

There will only be one winner here and that's the company that doesn't say anything derogatory, Nu Life are winning you 2 are fighting for last place.

Why not try writing posts on hard floor cleaning and restoration and problem solving then everyone will follow whoever they see as their guru many suppliers have done that on here and gained valuable customers.

I'd like them all to put info posts based on cleaning, repairs, sealing, problem solving, price guides etc this is what the forum needs and also 'google picks up well from this forum' so potential clients could easily find a specialist.

I have already put at least 4 extensive posts on here regarding this!  I will put a few more on when I get chance but it is difficult to post a problem with a solution and then avoid stating what products we used to solve it.  All our posts are based on experience of real life issues and problems we have encountered and as you know you cannot teach or buy experience.

I take your point Kev I think if you can do case studies even mentioning your products in the problem solving is acceptable it's the blatant advertising that we have to object to, can you add some information on projects you have completed I'm sure that you could twist the wording to add your product names it just needs a little creative license  ;) anything boarderline and we can easily sort it out between us I'm sure it would be win win for us all.
