Why not use a properly formulated product that is predictable in use?
The cost is pennies.

When you say 'millelitres per litre' what do you mean
Sodium Percarbonate is normally a solid oxidising agent that breaks down into Hydrogen Peroxide when added to water that then produces your so called oxygen boost

On certain stains I would use ca 25grams per litre.   As for using it for general coverage in a pre spray - I wouldn't bother.  You can get presprays that already do that for you

Sodium percarb is a great chemical. It is widely used in carpet cleaning and is marketed by all the manufacturers under different product names.
You can use up to 8 scoops per ltr depending on what you are trying to do.
In presprays it is a great stain digester. Get more info by reading the instructions on oxibrite or similar.

By millilitres I mean for example 1 tbsp would be 15ml, Peter when you say scoops what size scoop are we talking?

I find 1 15ml scoop per liter of pre spray will suffice as a booster/ brightener. The prochem powr burst scoop will be.perfect if you have it

percrb is percarb does not matter who's name is on the container. you do however get different concentrations.

I wasnt kidding ... i do .    It would be up to you to try it though .  The best value might be to get a big 20kg of the pure stuff from mistral chemicals or others . But i have bought chemspec energizer etc also .  I mostly use it on trashed stuff or to brighten something i know will turn out dull so a bit of extra surfactant in the laundry stuff makes no diffence and probably helps ... imo .

Just be careful, have bought stuff before which wasn't what was on the label. Luckily had bought it before so knew it wasn't right.

Whilst we all like to save a few quid using products specifically for use is important, I always test properly and the one time I don't will be the time it bites me. So always be cautious.

Find an Amway distributor in your area, ask them for their all fabric bleach product, best sodium percarbonate i have ever used.

   Ya Coffee,tea, and many other stains, not strong concentrate, have to use it at the right temp fine on wool if you are careful and know how to use it safely just like others cant give away to many secrets.

Hi guys, today i washed 6 wool oriental rugs with an alkaline detergent + sodium percarbonate.  The final result was excellent


20 gr sodium percarbonate per lt of warm water
