Hi Dave,

We opted for a colour change Di-bottle from Ionics. The reason we chose this option, was we know exactly when the Di is nearly depleted. We have a TDS rating just below 10 after the RO unit and the DI bottle brings this to TDS 0 every time and lasts about 4 - 6 months depending on usage. The cost is cheaper that a 25lt resin bag.

The DI bottle is clear plastic 30" long and has hose lock fittings each end. The start colour is blue and changes to brown as the resin depletes.

Give Ionics a ring on 0845 22 66 002 and ask for the price of part number W0070  -  0 TDS Blue colour change filter.

Hope this helps

Many Thanks

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Are the D/i cylinders from Ionic refillable or do you have to buy new each time?

Roy :)

Hi Roy,

They are not refillable, you just use them and then replace them. I did initially opt for a 25lt DI vessel which i had to fill myself, but by using the Ionics one, i found it much easier.

Hope this helps

Many Thanks
