outside sun blind canopys
« on: September 14, 2004, 12:25:33 am »
Have been asked today if possible to clean 2 canopy
sun blinds, the sort that pulls down and retracts in
a household dwelling,
now for all you experts out there what is the best method, solution ?
the material is of the cloth type you find on parosels etc.
they are obviously dirty from outside elements, but the main prob so far as i can see certin areas are covered in green mould ,
idid test with a small area with solutions no2 ,as was cleaning their carpets when asked, seemed to work ok,
so really all im asking is there more suitable products, would the blinds benefit from a mould growth inhibitor after cleaning .
and most importantly what sort of charge is made for this type of service?
help please any one
regards geoff

Geoff

Although I don’t do commercial/domestic but have done my own in the past, the best why is to take the fabric off the frame it should slid out, lay it on drive and pw it care here not too hire pressure also care on stitching may be old.

Regarding inhibitor check with local caravan centre.

Pricing charge your cc price and then the taken down and putting back up plus inhibitor.

Don’t work of a ladder it’s not worth it.

Hope this helps

Geoff

Why would they put away for the winter when as you say it retracts into a household dwelling?

There is a franchise org that doses this plus more, sure they are on this forum who can help you more then I.

By the way am not into working of ladders be it pw or cc taking down is different but = height.
