Have the cleaning contract of some car showrooms, this one I have had over 10 years, van broke about a week before chrimbo a few years back, so I goes in and spoke with gm for the site. He says there's a few ex demos or site vans I could look at. I found the trafic van I drive today and asked can I test drive it for a month, which he agreed. During this time I checked the rrp on the van which was £8800 plus vat.
After a month the accountant rang me up and asked me what I wanted to do with the van, I says I would like to buy it and can we do a deal.
They sold me the van for £5500 plus vat, they says pay the vat up front and if I could afford it I could pay the rest each month over a year or so, til it was paid...... I suppose it boils down to the relationship u have with them
