Making an Exhibition of Yourself
« on: July 13, 2004, 09:01:20 am »
Just reading my scribled notes from a marketing course I did about two years\ago.

One of the Ideas\ is to have\a stand at local Fetes , Country Fares and School Events.

Has anyone done this.

What did you demo to attract attention.

What do you do for power

Where can I get some big Pictires  for Display Panels

Any other advise

Ian

Large Inkjet prints will do, then laminated.

Peice of carpet, half cleaned.

Lots of leaflets, business cards.

Prize Draw (e mail me for details on that one)

Balloons for kids (helium) they are quite cheap and you just hire the gas cylinder.

Machine at side of stand.

School Fetes, Church Bazaars, Car Boots , Shopping Centres (though expensive) Dog Shows , Vintage Car shows etc etc

And a stuning Barbie type young lady wearing a tiny mini skirt handing out the Business cards & leaflets.

Your stand will be the most popular one there I can assure you!! :D

School fetes, If youv'e got a t/m get them to advertise bringing a small rug along to have cleaned in return for a donation to the school funds. Lots of leads and a satisfied school board. If no t/m you need to have a power supply to use, and access to water.
