II.1) DESCRIPTION

Birmingham Ltd intend to appoint a service provider to continue the
delivery of Cleaning Services to the Town Hall venue effective from
1.9.2009 to 31.8.2012 (a term of 3 years).
The services to be covered by this contract will include:
1. Daily internal building cleaning (front and back of house)
2. Regular external building cleaning (low level)
3. Janitorial services (event related)
4. Consumable supply
The Town Hall venue is looking for a provider who:
 Manages small to medium size contracts in the central Birmingham region
(up to a maximum value of 150 000 GBP per annum,
Has experience of working within buildings,
 Grade 1 listed,
 Open to the general public for event, entertainment or live performance
purposes,
Has the ability to provide a daily cleaning service supplemented by
janitorial support as required by the venue’s event programme,
Can be flexible regarding the hours of operation in order to accommodate
event requirements,
Will become part of the Town Hall team with an emphasis on customer care
and pride in the building.

managed by Performances Birmingham Ltd at the heart of the city of
Birmingham. Together with Symphony Hall they present an exciting and
varied programme of over 600 concerts and events each year.
Performances Birmingham Ltd is an independent charitable trust and
controlled by Birmingham City Council.
Performances Birmingham Ltd intend to appoint a service provider to
continue the delivery of Cleaning Services to the Town Hall venue
effective from 1.9.2009 to 31.8.2012 (a term of 3 years).
The services to be covered by this contract will include:
1. Daily internal building cleaning (front and back of house)
2. Regular external building cleaning (low level)
3. Janitorial services (event related)
4. Consumable supply

and pride in the building.
