The awarding authority are seeking to appoint a Building Cleaning Contractor to provide a cleaning service across the city. The
current contract provides cleaning services to over 100 buildings including:
offices
schools
libraries
sheltered housing
day centres
industrial resource centres
a shopping arcade
The successful bidder must be able to show they have sufficient resources and knowledge to provide a good quality service for
the different uses, types and age of buildings. The contract is for four years, with the option to extend for a further two
years at the council's discretion.
