We are in the process of putting our staff through CRB checks but are struggling to allocate a category to the checks. According to the guidance, "Under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 Exceptions Order, only applications for certain types of job or voluntary work can be the subject of a CRB Disclosure." and cleaners or anything to do with cleaning etc is not listed there.

For the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts in accordance with Directive 2004/17/EC and 2004/17/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 2004 (a)."
What have others used? Is there a more suitable one than the one I have above?
