Anyone having problems in reaching support or the owner Paul?
I have had no replies the past month and I have been with them for many years.

sending the emails to Paul the owner at his email address like I have done for more than 7 years plus the support email as well. So to both emails.

Funny...George himself I think is Paul, the owner. So I am trying to find out if he is still operating this or has he stopped.

Apologies Sundae I was just being flippant - hope you get sorted but I just use an Excel Spreadsheet and pen and paper.

The Yahoo user group seems to have disappeared, I can't click through on their website to a contact form as it says "page can't be displayed". The only contact seems to be the email address; support@georgesystems.co.uk and after doing a quick check online this is still valid and live.

This is worrying , i have used George for years,don't really want to switch but if there's no support may have to.

It was only a matter of time that a service like George, that requires a one off payment and no subscription ceases being updated imo. Done well to last all these years really.

A week ago I left messages by email and got no response.
Apparently the back up system is working in that there is no message saying it has failed but who knows what will happen if you need to restore?
The emails don't bounce back but there is no response.
Not looking hopeful - anyone else know?

The last time I contacted Paul it was using the support@georgesystems.co.uk email address, but that was 6 years ago.

I've been using George for over 12 years, it does everything I need . Desktop and palm in the early days, now small windows tablet. Would happily pay a yearly fee to keep it operating

As I believe Aworka is in the same industry I took it that the bit you kindly highlighted in red meant that anyone could ask Aworka about what's happening to George and their options for George users.
They may wish to switch as they (Aworka) historically do a product that George users sometimes migrate to.
Has anyone switched from George to Aworka?

He changed some artwork for me and I asked if he knew if Paul was ok, he didn’t .

I think any of the major programs could easily transfer George data into a more modern format

Just back up on a memory stick,I've also downloaded the trial version on another device,so currently I have two operating versions of george
That's what I have done.
I now have George on a Windows tablet with Windows 10 on it. Will George work on Windows 11? I don't know.
Microsoft have now reported that this SurfaceGo tablet I'm using will not work with Windows 11. I know there are some work arounds to instal W11, but I will stick with w10 for as long as I can.

Ive been trying to contact him for a couple of weeks to get a back up of my work sent to me, No reply yet and starting to get desperate now as had to get a new laptop so have lost everything. Working from memory but only got a couple of days left.

If you have a new laptop,down load the George demo version of there web site,then copy your George info on your old laptop onto a memory stick then load it onto your new lap top,it's not difficult I've done it a couple of times and I'm a thick window cleaner

It's Paul, aka GeorgeSystems.
Sorry I've b een invisible for a while. I was diagnosed with cancer early in 2021. I've had some major surgery and been on chemotherapy for most of the year. That makes it very hard to do anything useful !!
I finished my chemo a couple of weels ago and I'm feelng very must better - so hopefully things will be back to normal in a week or two.
I'm really sorry for all of you who've needed help while I've been offline but there was nothing I could do about it. This year will be better !!
