Water tank in van

(1/3) > >>

teemro:
Hello everyone

I plan on installing a water tank in a high-cube van (Partner/Kangoo/Berlingo, for example).

This is to feed a 7 litre per min. pressure hose for cars/wheelie bins.

Has anyone here got any experience or ideas about doing this?

I'd be very interested to hear them.  I'm sure others would benefit too, as getting a water supply where you need it is crucial in many applications.

Thanks general_carnaby@hotmail.com

Their a lot of rules and regs regarding washing of wheelie bins. I am not sure what your intention is so give us some more details and have a look at my web site.

My intention is initially clean cars.  If the law says I have to do that off the highway, then so be it.  I will make that my thing.  Whatever, I shall, if need be, keep my foam off the highway.  I will use my own water from my house (or the in-laws when they are away (he he!)

If I get the opportunity to do some wheelie bins, then I'll blast 'em out on the owner's driveway.

I saw the gen on your website, George, and it looks really cool - all self-contained and that.  Perhaps not at my level right now.

I'm still looking for a tank for a high cube van if anyone can help.

I want to run a superior pressure wash and vacuum from it.  I need to have space for buckets and other equipment too, of course.  Maybe a Nissan Vanette would be cool.

Advice always welcome.  Thanks all.

Tim,

Do a search on "waterless cleaning" on this board. There was some very interesting stuff on the pro's and con's of this method of car cleaning recently.

Car cleaning, bin washing, AND considering window cleaning - you're going to be a busy boy!

How about filling in some of your profile, signature, and personal text so we get to know a bit more about you?

All the best for whatever route you go down.
