you keep going on and on about what damage chemicals can do to floors but as you well know this would be for complete continuous use  or in other words as a daily cleaner the only other way it can damage is lack of common sense or knowledge and judging by what your saying in other posts this is what you have experienced in the past

So from that let me ask you a question if say someone uses a harsh chemical in a educated way will they damage the floor ? And also presuming there are not using it continuously

Tony, Just stop trying to twist things, this goes back to your father recommending a product which contains sodium hydroxide for deep cleaning Altro safety flooring. if ye are happy to stand over that recommendation well that is where i am going to leave it.

Pity you don't leave it then isn't it because I have been cleaning an altro floor for a client for the last 8 years as an add on to his important stuff and the Floor is immaculate with no damage because we know what we are doing with High Alkaline Cleaners.  We understand the correct dwell time and to rinse afterwards thoroughly with a pH neutral cleaner.  I have no problem at all with it.  The only person who has a problem is you but you don't matter they do because they pay us for a great job and they are the only people I have to make happy.

Kevin if you knew what you were talking about using a pH neutral cleaner after using a high alkaline based chemical based on sodium hydroxide will not neutralize the floor  as you would need to use an acid based cleaner to achieve neutral results, and you don't have to worry about me as i am very happy indeed. I will share with you again Kevin you should never use sodium hydroxide based chemicals to deep clean Altro flooring because they are so corrosive and do end up chemically burning the surface, how you can tell is they leave  a yellow staining behind and this detrimental damage can't be reversed, hope you may find this information to be of benefit.

Kind regards

Kevin, i am so confident that if you have been cleaning a clients Altro safety floor for the past eight years with Aqua mix heavy duty tile and grout cleaner one of the most aggressive hard floor cleaners available on the market and you are trying to tell me there is no chemical burning on their floor, well if you can prove that i will be happy to put my hand up and apologize and no longer be a member on this forum. Bring it on prove it and i will follow through on leaving this forum with my tail between my legs.

Tony that is bullpoop, who is the person that recommended to use a product which is so aggressive that it should never be used on an Altro safety floor because sodium hydroxide can and will chemically burn this surface, If you need to see the proof for yourself Tony here is what you do, take your fathers recommendation for Aqua mix heavy duty tile and grout cleaner which is usually 3 or 4 to 1 with water allow 10 - 15 minutes dwell time and then scrub with a soft to medium brush, take a piece of altro safety flooring carry out the above recommendation and watch what happens , now Tony i rest my case.

You keep banging on about the same thing over and over again " Aqua Mix HDT&G"  Why I have no idea?  Firstly cleaning of soft flooring is a very very minor part of what we do!  I leave the janitorial side of cleaning to others.  We are primarily Natural Stone Restoration Specialists.  We only get involved in the Mrs Mop side of things if a major client asks us to do it as a part of the whole project attached to the important stuff we do.  In the main we leave this sort of work to others.  That said for one important client we have cleaned their Altro Stronghold 30 Flooring in their heavy use kitchens for 8 years.  We use High Alkaline then neutralise with pH Neutral then use Hone 800 and rinse and it is perfect with zero signs of yellowing.  I have one of my trade customers who only does this type of flooring day in and day out and he uses the same method with no signs of yellowing!  No one wants you to leave the forum least of all me!  It is me who is leaving!  You do what you like!
