Steve

You could apply a detergent and try and jet it off hot with a vacuum pick up.  Maybe Lee at BDCS can help or you could use a rotary scrubber with some remover and a vac.  Try a test area first mate.  How did young Adam I sent over to you for the day work out?

Hi Guys

The power steering fluid must have dissolved some of the Tarmac so I would say it would be impossible to remove without taking some of the Tarmac with it.

Obviously solvents are a no no, so it would have to be water based.

I would try 'microsplitter' say Prochem Pureclean

Cheers

You could try using a product called Creat Kleen by APex Industrial Chemicals in Aberdeen.
Expensive but very good used to sell it for them years ago, used it alot in Garages etc.....This stuff is amazing and draws the contamination to the surface...Used it on Tar and concrete in the past with no problems...

Good Luck

Tarmac is a real tricky surface with any kind of oil. I doubt you'll completely remove the staining but you'll could try Bio TA. A good product, but some things are just impossible.

Ask for a sample and carry out a test. The additional problem is the longer it's down, the harder it will be to succeed.

Try washing powder or sand. I had a similar experience and washing powder worked great for me. Sand is also suggested, but make sure you are careful with sand. It may be a bit tricky to wash away the sand later on if it gets stuck in the tarmac!

Try to pressure clean it once you have got rid of the stain!
