Title: Ideal pole height
Post by: Plankton on November 26, 2017, 09:04:37 pm
Using lower powered pumps what would the be the ideal pole height?
Awkward question as I know folks will use higher powered pumps (especially with USA techniques) but for the controlled application off chems I would rather spend the money on a pole which is more versatile for myself.
I've been using something prehistoric and thinking of an SLX30 but can I make mind up!

Are you on about softwashing or pressure washing - if the latter remember you need to loose the top section. I have a SLX for softwashing and a streamline full carbon for pressurewashing

It's for soft washing.

The longer the pole the further you can reach. Mine is 47 ft so I can reach areas like roof lines and gable ends and cuts down on the need for MEWPs and scaffolds. You could always tape the shorter pole to the end of your gutter vac tubes to give a bit more reach.
