if you could get one with a 1000kg payload then id buy one.

Maybe things do change?  ;D

The UK Gov is allowing them to go to 4250Kgs so they can hold a bigger payload and you can drive them like a 3500kg ICE van and on a normal licence. Rishi was wanting us to do a 6hr conversion course but that got dropped. Not sure if any are in the process to be built.

I think the tipping point will be if Trump gets in. He is trying to work with big oil companies. Next year will be interesting and China are selling EVs at half the price of their competitors.

Not sure how old trumpster would make much of a difference. As you say it's China that appear to be driving the EV revolution. America would do well to not let their current market dominance slip into the hands of the CCP.

All Trump needs to do is ban Chinese EVs or put a heavy tariff on them. Because the yuan is 90% cheaper than the dollar means wages in China is 90% cheaper to build. The yuan or renminbi is pegged to the US dollar.

The reason we buy cheap stuff is because we are just starting out and have a limited budget. I started with a Makita PW at £400 but it only lasted a season. Then later on I got into it professionally and copied a guy who knew his stuff but I had my lump sum by this point so budget could allow it. When I started window cleaning 6 years ago, I bought a £80 starter kit from Ebay or Amazon as I had the ladders. Best £80 I ever spent and made the money back in less than a month. In the end we all have to start somewhere and then slowly grow and learn by mistakes every successful person will agree.
