What is the surface looks like granite ?? What’s caused the stain oil ???

It’s granite alright. - it’s not oil, it looks like natural oxidation like rust

It’s granite alright. - it’s not oil, it looks like natural oxidation like rust
If it’s rust oxalic acid should remove it .

Oxalic acid won’t do it any harm but I'd get Kev Martin to give his opinion on this before attempting to clean it

We have a lot of granite down hear with rust on it oxalic works well 99% of the time , but agree interesting to see what Kevin says

If it’s rust I agree however op isn’t sure - that makes suggestions “iffy” - but as said I think it’s a good place to start
