« on: September 08, 2010, 09:56:34 pm »
Good Evening all,
Hubby has today been on a training course with Alltec and has come back wanting to go the whole hog with the 1200 model with all attachments. Just wanted to know if anyone has any feedback on this product before we invest  :o
Many Thanks
Lisa :)

Hi Jo,
Carpets and Hard floor, he has been in the business a few years using Extracta, He is very impressed with the machine, the training and the after sales service that is being offered however i am making him question as to weather it would be a good investment

My take on this....

The high pressure is not required at all for carpet cleaning, so the sales pitch is for the hard floors.

there is a pie for hard floors as there is a pie for carpet cleaning.

Pressure and heat are just 2 parts of the pie.
get the right cleaning fluid for what you cleaning and agitate well and you dont need the heat nor the pressure.
High heat and high pressure may well help clean faster but they are not critical.

You pays your money and takes your choice.
If hubby is a nebie to the business of carpet cleaning and hard floor cleaning then he will have a hard task ahead of him learning all about one of those features never mind taking on board both  (carpets and hard floors), and of course there is fabric upholstery which is different to carpet cleaning and leather cleaning and restoration which does not need any high value machinery to master.
