RO Systems.

Got DIY van set up ordered.Tank,pump,varistream,DI vessel,resin and assorted fittings.The idea is to refill the tank every night via hose and an inlet port.My question to everyone is what is the best option
for purifng my water(hard). My tank is 600lts.Any help most welcome.

Hi PT.

If you want to fill up with 600 ltrs overnight you really have a couple of options.

One would be the Merlin: Advantages- quite fast and with decent water pressure OK at getting TDS down. Disadvantages: If your water pressure is marginal or low a lot of waste water and not too good at getting TDS down. You can always get a booster pump for it for around £160 though. All up cost probably around the £500 mark if you need the booster pump.

Another option would be a 40in membrane RO system. Very fast production and good TDS reduction. Not a lot of waste either compared to most other systems.
