was looking into cleaning boats moored in canal or marina?

has anyone gone to a marina or canal to clean boats? they get covered in algae or they need the salt washing off if they are in the sea?  do you just need cold water or do you spray them with tfr to shift the algae then rinse off!

also i need to use environmently friendly cleaner so the chemicals dont infect the water in the canals or marinas!   anyone know of any?

                        I've never seen any posts on the cleanitup forum on this subject before and could be the first. Its something that I've never thought of doing and wouldnt know were to start on the pricing of each job.

   I've given my new client a few details in which they sound interested but they've told me they want a few more qoutes first before deciding on who to go with. I'll keep you posted on who they go with.

oh good i hope you get sorted, the lady is my friens and she has received many testimonials for her companys work, her guys travel all over the uk to fix pc's and install them for companies. speak soon.

I used to soda blast anti foul on boats but the insurance was heaps and my ordinary PL dos'nt cover marina work

would just use non harmfull chemicals i think with low pressure!

i have a product thats made from plant extracts that is safe to use i hope to have it on the market early next year

As a boat owner I know of plenty of people who carry this out. Main thing is regarding washing chemicals into the water.
Johny H there's already plenty of safe chemicals made from plant extracts. They are nothing new. Invented in the 1930's and further developed in the 1970's for oil dispersal as the detergents they were using for oil tanker spills were causing more damage than the oil. Our Nemesis range is one of many and is used by the US navy to clean ships at sea as it can be washed over the side.

Was talking to a bloke last year regarding pressure washing boats.
This is the best time of year to get into this work as a lot of boats are moved to dry dock
As they only play insurance for six months of the year.
I would suggest a trip to your local yacht club boat yard and have a chat
Most of have their own pressure washers but it's another thing actually doing the work.

seen sum 1 doing this years ago, he just dipped his sucktion hose into the water and he was cleaning away.
