There's a nice Mosmatic 30'' inch I think with twin vac ports on ebay Mike.

I'll buy one new as the last option but I'll always try for second hand first. I've bought some good gear that's been used before. A Pure Freedom trolley most recently in great condition and 2 Yanmar's with 201 pumps and gear boxes for only £250! New seals and pistons in the pump on one and a cracking machine, not had time to hook up the other yet as need to put a starter on that.

Looking like more snow tomorrow Mike, you pushing work back again?

I bought mine probably 6 or 7 years ago and it was dearer then but I bought the longer handle

I could'nt find any other mosmatics on e bay other than the £650 one thats always on there.
I looked on the smartseal website but they don't do them so you obviously don't need one.

No good for me  ???

As Carl has just posted ebay or shelf item max £300 + vat delivered, brand new no messing with warranty (but not reqd). I can sort of understand buying m/cs but you run the risk, just dont see the point for FSC when they are relatively cheap, can be spread over a few jobs.

How much did fuel cost manc to cornwall, surely reverse graf London profit from one, hell new m/c   ??? Its just a different perspective  ;)

We have had snow all day still snowing around 1-2" heading your way  :( Domestic roofs on hold temps back to -7 Thurs - In real terms another lost week for exterior, interior a few small jobs - just have to suck it up.
Hopefully back next sat onwards with commercials, Domestic wk Monday, really cant complain weather has been kind Nov-Dec.

Think jet wash direct are the distributors.

I plan to see how Accy brick cleans go with vacuum port. I'll just hook it up to a triple motor wet vac.

I'm always confident Mike there's good second hand gear out there. My 21" mosmatic was only used a couple of times and I got that for £300. Half the price of a new one.

 :)

Snow has arrived. Got a little flagstone job in the morning of which I'll be postponing and 5 jobs to look at.

Are you not considering vac recovery flat surface cleaning?

Is it worth getting a mosmatic over another brand of FSC?
Are they much better considering the extra money?

Something like this any good?...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Professional-12-inch-Pressure-Washer-Flat-Surface-Cleaner-300mm-Surface-Cleaner-/310419272880?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item48466e34b0

You can buy parts for the mossies and the vacuum ported fsc are double skinned with the vac port only going through the outer skin, this means that the vacuum is equal around the whole of the skirt

I am after one without a vac though. Will this fall apart in two minutes or last as long a a mosmatic?
I dont want to buy cheap rubbish, but I also dont want to pay a high price for the same thing just because i hasa brand on it.

Why not try one of these? I think im gonna get one. Cheaper than the other ones.

Me and Lee have both explored that one and they won't ship.

Max pressure is only 2500psi though.
I'm think mine runs at 15lpm , 3500psi. Does that sound right or do I have that wrong?

I'm in two minds whether to buy cheap or get a good one that will last

they state they ship to the uk,  = $50.99,  or $58  shipping costs.   = around £32.00
price of 12 inch whirl-away = £70.84p         nice price to pay if genuine,   saving £100sssssssssss.  whos the first to buy one.   = £103.68p  in total for a 12 inch whirlaway,    i may just order one,    knowing the price here.

can this 12inch whirl-away be used by a gx340   and a gx390   pressure washer,   i know the bigger sfc  need high psi.   i take it you can use these smaller floor cleaners    with the high powered washers as well,  am i right.  just connect lance,     or will there connections be totally different
when it says minimum pressure 2000psi   4gpm,     does this mean anything over 2000psi   is suitiable to use this fsc,     they also have a handle to attatch to use it as a horizontal wall cleaner @ £23.18p

If? it better had.

I'm not really as clued up on the mechanics. I go to a friend that is reasonable at repairs and sells everything and I trust him. But it is a yanmar, 15lpm, 3500psi, diesel. It is a few years old now, but reliable! I was thinking of changing it last year, but even though it is old it hardly ever lets me down!

Thanks for the compliments on the site I try to update it and tweak it every now and again.

At the mo I don't use a FSC just the turbo lances and fans, I like having the control of the lance, but a FSC would be a handy tool to have, just for the odd jobs.
