Hello all,
Does anyone read the Cleanzine magazine? They have an ask the experts part and reading it today I came across this:
"We have a major problem in the City and your expertise might help.
"The contractors have cleaned six floors of metal tiles with a buffer that uses a circular motion and it has scratched all the tiles and the client isn't happy with it. We need some kind of polisher, cleaning agent, machine, chemical etc to try and clean and take the swirls out. have you got any ideas?"

OMG!! What a mess! I thought I would post it on here to see if anyone had any ideas, I can't believe a contractor could have done this! Obviously used a rotary machine with a black/brown/green pad to do this damage.

Metal tiles! that's a new one.
You know I'm not going to be much use but I have seen some
horrendous 'normal' tiled floors and wooden floors (I've been responsible
for most of them :-[) that have been scratched and scuffed to bits. A coat
or two of polish and they have come up like new.
Not sure if that is an option in this case as no idea what I would do with
metal tiles apart from take them down the scrappy and sell them :-X
