We do domestic cleaning and probably that's nothing new but we also advertise in  selected local property magazine and advertise in as many shop windows as possible. Once you start rolling good you will get loads customers from recommendation as well. Leaflets prove to be the most reliable way of getting new business but need to be doing tones of it and target well. I would say that from every 100 you can count yourself lucky if you get 1 new customer.
Or maybe try special offers buy one get one free?!!!

i personally would look at the commercial sector, we do very little domestic work, we do have the framework in place for a full domestic launch, but to be honest we are so busy we have not got time to do it

hiya mac

like the man said leaflets are good for getting domestic work
but they can take a while to pay back also shop windows are good and the more you  do the better.

Just remember keep at it coz it does take time to get the work, and like most of the people on here will tell you just get out there and find the jobs. ;)
