Forum smf version

Just an observation but noticed ciu forum still using smf version 1.1.12 when 2.0.7 is available.

Surely one reasons for updating the software would be for bug fixes and security issues.

Hi Smurf,

We have an inhouse team that have updated this software every so often to keep up to date with patches, bug fixes etc outside of the SMF forum software. We shall be looking into the benefits of updating the software with SMF such as screen layouts and extra functions. Many changes have been made to Clean It Up over the past 10 years so it's not as simple as just updating to the latest version unfortunately.
