well i must have missed the seminar??
you know the one, if your business is rubbish, if you are bored, if you have nothing better to do , jump into pressure washing , everybody else is , theres nothing to it make loads of money, work 3 days a week, get rich quick.
well it seems that everybody wants to be a pressure washer judging by the no of posts asking which washer shall i buy. they are always posted by someone who has decidede not to show a location in his profile and have not read a single bit of faq, what a suprise.
well i suppose i ought to do the decent thing and find out for these poors souls where to get the best rate of foreign exchage so they wont have to post the question, when in a few weeks they need to be booking there big holidays and cruises from the money they are going to make in the magnificently overpaid world of pressure washing

i am sorry to have to dissapoint you but a lot of the time the good life does not come along and bite you in the rear. you actually have to got out and look for it.so here is good advice.
ammend your profile so that we know were you are.
read lots of the existing posts across all the topics, you learn shed loads of useful stuff that you never thought you might need to know. but thats because you did not know, so you could not ask the question,
then read all of the f a q section there is info in there about allsorts and most questions HAVE been asked and answered before.
THEN if you cannot find the answer that you are looking for post your question.
the writers on this forum love a challenge, they are knowledgable and willing to help and share there skills but in most part do not like wasting there time answering the same question posed by a different person every two weeks or so.
if you feel that my previous post was unhelpful i must have been on a pmt day, but read the massage between the lines and ask if you really want to be getting into pressure washing cos recently every man, woman, and dog with a 50 p pump spray and a gallon of water wants to be as well, so you could be looking at a market that is already suffering from low end jobs and low end pricing

I use a Kaercher K299mh   it is 100 bar,1600 watt and is very effective in the 90 quid range.

Recently cleaned out a barn with a few years worth of  old chicken sh*t dried to a concrete floor,It lifted the lot!

200bar 3000psi 15ltr per min on a 13hp PW is the minimun entry level system for a professional PW...but if it is going to be your core earner then you would need to be seen as a specialist and would infact require even bigger equipment IMO.

Pressure washing is not a self sustaining business, it's more of an add-on for existing grounds maintenance co's, landscapers, gardeners, odd job men and the odd CC (not saying that all CC's are odd) as a service to offer there existing customers.

Please bear in mind there will be no repeat business like other sectors of the cleaning industry...which means you will always be looking for work, and will not be able to fill your book with a growing percentage of repeat customers like a window, wheelie bin or Carpet cleaner does. And you only have to read these boards to see what an ongoing marketing campaign they have to create to sustain there own bussiness's.

But it's not all bad news mate...you are here, and it looks like you haven't made the investment yet, so look around for a good niche that does work. Be prepared to do a little training and lots of research into something with good repeat business.

Good Luck
