Post by: martin19842 on July 25, 2006, 09:59:27 pm
hi there

just a bit of advice really,

best wet vac, for uplifting black water, solids etc, and for uplifting say upto 2" deep

uptill now we have used the larger numatic machines, and for clean water my carpet machine does a fab job

these machines, will probably have a hard life, so any thoughts please.

hi Martin
I have used the tech clean 100 litre wet vac for the last year. it has 3 x 1000 watt motors and comes on a cart. i use it for removing flooded areas containing suspended sand in my pressure washing business and for sucking up silt and mud.  the price is around £400. it is considerably cheaper than rival machines and has performed well. i have made some modifications to the cart like putting on bigger stronger wheels and reinforcing the tipping mechanism and tools but i think it is value for money.

Cheers

Ged

Martin, the numatics are bomb proof as you know, we've used one for 10 years with no problems. Not much different on the market unless you go up to a truckmount.
