i sold my first bit of work! New
« on: September 06, 2009, 08:58:12 am »
hi all, yesterday I successfully sold part of my round for the first time.

lots of advertising means I now have a  pretty constant flow of new work. I didn't want to employ so decided to sell a bit.

up til now i've given any a excess work to my brother and stepdad, but this last lot was too well priced to give away.

I sold £600 per 4 week period for £1800. all good custies and good access wfp.

i'll have work coming up for sale every few months I think from now on in most areas of wolverhampton and its outlying areas. if anyone is interested in future work, please let me know- daveswindowcleaning@hotmail.com or 07790 165654.

also, I had an interesting chat with my accountant. he said the buyers CAN  put the purchase of goodwill through their business to offset against the tax bill, and I can put the sale of the round  against my capital gains allowance for this year. max allowable before tax this year is £10100 so no tax to pay there!!

HAPPY DAYS   :D
