i tell them i have a private bore hole and scorce my own water that seems to shut em up or...........

or the water is scorced from cornwall  or from up north ect where there is no ban or............

its not water but an alchol based cleaner therefore not subject to a ban........
 

or  more temptingly its neat sulphric acid seeing how they react if any of  it drops from above  when they walk through a door after you have cleaned the windows above just a thought

show your doing your bit by tradding the ground floors if your that concerned.i personally just carried on as normal when the hosepipe ban was in force a few years ago here in the north west.

i even joked with customers to put their plants under the windows and id water them for free!!i had no complaints whatsoever!!

Reverse Osmosis was first developed by NASA so astronauts could recycle their pee for drinking water etc  so just tell them that's where your getting your h2o from
