Hey everyone,
I’ve got a PW job coming up and the customer wants me to clean two stone plaques: there is black lettering on it. Anyone had experience of cleaning this sort of thing: I’ve got hypo and a 15 litre and minute machine. I don’t want to knacker the black lettering! Any advice greatly appreciated.

The stone is easy hypo and low pressure - the lettering is the tricky bit - are they carved into the stone or bonded .?
Low pressure softwash should see you right - but without seeing the item in question it's a bit hit and miss

Cheers Darren
The letters are cut into the stone with ‘black’ at the back of each one.
It’s buff coloured sandstone. Thank you.

Hypo will be fine then
