Whats the Best Chemical to Remove Paint
« on: May 25, 2005, 09:42:11 pm »
I've got a house to do and the carpet is splattered all over with white emulsion paint. 12 rooms and every one splattered also the 3 flights of stairs. :-[

The paint has been there for about 2 months, there is no pile to the carpet, it looks like exhibition carpet and is dark green in colour.

I did clean 1 room as a test and did remove quite a lot of the paint but I'm not  happy with with the result although the customer says she is.

I used no 3 spotter from solutions.

Any ideas ???

Try Eco Spotter and be prepared for a long hard Back Breaking time!!

Hope you charged accordingly.
I get better looking each day!!

Eco spotter or NO6 chewing gum remover seem to work well

Hi Guys,

White spirit is effective on many paint stains but oil based paints are very difficult to remove.

Cheers,
