IMHO  20metres on a Powermax is going to be hard work without a booster. If you use a booster, you would place it, at the most, 25 ft. from the wand, so you wouldn't want the hose in one piece. Solution supply would suffer at that distance too with the small pump on a Powermax, even more so if running upstairs.

And don't go for the cheapest hose, it's KRAP, go for a good quality smooth bore.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

According to Prochem, you can run the powermax with 100' of hose, is this not true then?

It is my opinion that a portable running 2x3stage VO motors has too much a drop in performance over 50ft to make it not a practical option. I would repeat that too for an AO optimised arrangement.  You need to do too many dry passes to maintain standards. Also, with a maximum of 135psi at a low flow rate available, running that length of hose up stairs would mean a serious drop off in water delivery.

I know many people do run these lengths of hose from there medium performance portables but, again my opinion, practical working standards are inferior because of the aformentioned need to adjust wand technique.

Safe and happy cleaning :)
