It does appear they might have,or possibly recolated.
Do you know anything about it Shaun ?

Gone bust!
They sold the property about 2 years ago relocated the bed showroom to a rented unit then that has closed down apparently leaving quite a mess financially I've heard.

Any ideas as to what happened to all the equipment etc.
As I understand it there was dry beating machinery and
Other things some claimed to be the only ones anywhere
In the world for cleaning carpets. This was by the Franklin
Company of course.
Do you know if Bill Franklin is still with us?
I know he had a stroke about 5 years ago.
What about Mike,he had the company last I heard.
Also the one at Merseyside.
Thanks.

The vibrio beating machine and Davar machine I guess we're debunked whe they closed the factor a few years ago they were may be 50 years old, looking at the report I'd guess that there's nothing left, the cleaner who trades with franklins as part of his name is Tim but now that franklins bedside manor has gone I believe he trades as himself I believe he is in conjunction with an oriental rug shop but I haven't seen him to clarify.
Shaun
Ps are you after their equipment?
-
Not really, after their equipment I mean.
I saw nothing in the various cleaning
Journals I subscribe to.Bill`s not been
With or in concection with the NCCA
For many years now.
Could wafflle on a lot more,
Thanks for putting me in the picture.
P.S.
Life and time goes on,bags more work
For yourself,a major player gone bust
Still,full rinses and squares,the massive
Overheads these major players have,there`s
Just not the demand these days I guess.

They had been down to one van for years so there isn't any extra work really Tim who used to work for them is still doing their work onsite but for himself.

How sad that when the first or second generation of company owners pass on, the company ceases.
Every company I have worked for has shut down. Three were family 2nd generation and 1 was the biggest textile company in Europe.
Perhaps they could not manage without me. ;D

I'd like the beater it was lush
