It says bargain price Glynn at £14,000 + VAT.  What is the price of these new? that would give people a better idea in their own minds as to wheather its a bargain.

Steve Knight has one of these truckmounts.  I was chatting to him the other day & he is well pleased with it.  How do the stats match up against a Maxx470 petrol unit?  Does it have the same CFM & heat?

Richie.

Same CFM and heat yes, I think they are about £17,000 + vat etc new.
They are a turbo diesel version of the Maxx470 petrol. And quieter than the 450 diesel.

Do a search for a thread entitled 'why not a truck mount'

It has some excellent information both for and again a truckmount and is probably the longest thread in CIU history ;D

It got me thinking and after talking to a few knowledgeable and trusted CC I held off until a 'bargain' came up and I can honestly say I am 100% positive it was the right decision for me. The first few weeks I wasn't sure I'd done the right thing but it all worked out great in the end.

I do not consider 18% discount a bargain ,,,, under 10 would be a bargain.
