What would you do if your local water company had another hose pipe ban? How would you fill your water tank if you were a truck mount user.

Fill it at at 2AM in the morning when it quiet.

Fill it at my normal time before I started work, whats your problem??

I am NOT washing the car (not that I do, I've found it gets dirty again), I'm NOT watering the garden!!

I am going about my daily work.

Me too,

Fill up the tank in the same way plus wash my car/van, water the garden, water the hanging baskets, pressure wash my drive, fill up the kids paddling pool, etc etc etc.

Guess why?

Because I pay water rates and this country has more rain than any other European country, if Portugal/Spain can cope with the little rain they get why cant we.

Really gets up my nose when they start telling me I cant use somthing I pay for. >:(

One thing is for certain in this country, its going to rain, often.

So there, rant over.

During the last hose pipe ban we were asked to look after the garden of a neighbour (water the plant etc).

We could not get the hose off the tap on the wall it was seized solid. So we filled the watering can from the hose. Someone saw us do this and reported us and a few day later they got a warning letter when they came back from their holiday.

All I was thinking if their is another ban do we have to put up with this happening again.

Someone reported you for filling up a watering can :o

Wow :o some people really do need to seriously look at their lives and ask themselves is it worth continuing.

She probably went and had a bath after reporting you.
