This issue is slightly puzzling.
Apart from the few occasions where the automated email has not been sent due to staff error, having worked through with a few of you yesterday it would appear that it is only the automated emails that are not being allowed through to your email inbox.
Our automated email system is working correctly and is sending out to the majority of clients. In testing yesterday we sent out a personalized email from
sales@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk to a couple of clients and it worked and came through and yet using the same sending email
sales@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk the automated versions did not arrive, although we can see on the system that they were all sent.
In conclusion it would appear that certain browser based email domains (live, hotmail, gmail, etc.) are for some reason not allowing through automated order emails to a few clients.
What is the solution? Not sure - some of these emails accounts do have the ability to add a set email address to a safe sender list (or white list) so perhaps going into settings and adding
sales@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk to a safe sender setting may cure this - cannot guarantee this though.
